Overeating has become a huge problem in United States.  Consider the following: being overweight is only a problem for two categories of animals on this planet: the most intelligent species of all (that's us!) and the pets we domesticate?  Why is it that other creatures on this earth are not prone to that never ending cycle of over eating and then dieting?

The reason is very simple - other creatures on this earth have not learned to eat emotionally. That's right; the reason why so many people in the world are overweight is because as a species we have learned to use food as a means to change our feelings and at times to make us feel good.

 

Indeed, most of my clients' weight problems emanate from the fact that they eat when they are bored, lonely, miserable, stressed, and angry or any number of other emotional scenarios, NONE of which have anything to do with physical hunger.

It a sad fact that as a result of our conditioning from birth, many want to bury their feelings in food, but if we eat because of emotional hunger, our bodies will never feel satisfied because no amount of food is going to change the way we feel - indeed ultimately, it will only end up making us feel worse and could lead to obesity.

 

By using a mix of Clinical Hypnotherapy and Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), I work with a client’s subconscious mind, or more specifically their belief system, memory and imagination.  We’ve helped thousands of clients to change their relationship with food so they can enjoy healthier and more natural eating habits and behaviors.  This enables them to lose weight, feel in control and ultimately, become the person they desire and the way they were originally designed to be.

This approach is obviously very different from the all too frequent diet feast, diet feast, diet feast…..  The truth is that most diets are based on restricting the food intake, or at least an aspect of it. One will limit carbs, another will limit fats, another to the time of day we eat and another…… But that’s exactly where the problem lies - relying solely on restriction these diets do not allow people to have a healthy relationship with food - the relationship they were born with.  The diet becomes a constant struggle. So, once we are off the diet we return to our old (habitual) eating habits and behaviors and the next thing we know, all the weight we previously lost is piling back on. 

 

The reason why Clinical Hypnotherapy and Neuro-Linguistic Programming are scientifically proven to be a genuinely effective long-term weight loss solutions is because they change our relationship with food so that instead of feeling denial, we feel great!

 

 

Instead of choosing high fat / sugar / salt foods to feel good, we eat healthily and feel great doing it.
